Meet Matthew Newson

Award-winning author, Matthew Newson, calls the great state of Texas home, where he juggles his days between a full-time position, his family, his church, and writing. His passion for writing stems from a desire to bring the spiritual world to the fictional page. He enjoys a fierce battle scene with epic clashes of light versus dark. For those intrigued by supernatural mysteries and thrillers, you’ve come to the right place. His first series, The Man Wrapped in Darkness, is a three-part deep dive in the realm of spiritual warfare when your legacy is on the line. The Prophet’s Anointing is a suspenseful story of stepping into your calling at the cost of your own life. The Wrath Walker presents a physical manifestation of the Wrath of God come to the earth. Zechariah and the Fallen gives you a glimpse into the history of Heaven at a most pivotal point, while Brothers of Wrath completes the story of The Wrath Walker. Through takes you on a journey to acknowledge lifetime fears and digs deep into one man’s epic conquest to tackle them all. The Minister’s Battle tackles grief from the spiritual perspective and exposes the nefarious plans of the enemy. The latest release, The Plight of Amos, examines the assignment given a warring angel and the impact of loss when that role becomes vague. A story of purpose amidst turmoil and the victory of obedience over fear. The latest release, The Realm Shifter, hurtles toward a climactic showdown of two worlds hanging in the balance. Coming Spring 2025, a new suspense title, tentatively titled, The Soul Thief. Stay tuned.
